In Hebrews 13:3 the Bible extends the following invitation: “Remember those who are in prison as if you were their fellow prisoner, and those who are ill-treated, since you also are liable to bodily sufferings”.  Put yourself in the shoes of a person in prison and imagine being in a lonely place where the people from your childhood that were responsible for your formation, are no longer present.  You find yourself alone; you raise your head to look out the window, but the first thing you see are the prison cell bars.  Minutes later, looking at yourself, your gaze begins to go yet deeper, and you truly realize that this which imprisons you is more profound than the cell you are in and chains are actually binding your heart.

Stop! …  You are looking through the eyes of a person in prison.  This is the spirit of this ministry, to transcend the cell bars, breaking chains, letting captives free in the Name of Jesus, and restoring identities which have been mistakenly touched and distorted from their image in Christ.  The dark color represents what once was: darkness; while the color gold represents what is now: ROYALTY.  The man in the back, with his hands lifted high, represents the mission and vision of the ministry: FREEDOM AND RESTORATION OF THE INCARCERATED.

If you have not ever had the experience of visiting a prison, sit before this logo; close the door, meditate on it, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand how it might feel.  May the Lord reveal how we truly need men and women of God, full of Him, to free and restore persons in prison.
